Spring is a season of great potential

Ayurveda (an ancient mind-body health system) suggests that whatever exists within nature also exists within each of us. Our minds and bodies are greatly affected by each season. We need to adjust our lifestyles (and our yoga practices) accordingly.
Spring is a season of great potential. We begin to feel empowered to reach out for what we want and to take risks, strike out on our own, get outside and connect to the Earth again. We can use the potential and fertility of this time to create opportunities for positive change in our lives and in the world.
On our mats our yoga becomes more energetic, more playful. We are open-minded to new experiences, we try things for the first time. We celebrate our successes, we encourage each other and we laugh at ourselves when we fall out of a challenging pose.
Let's empower each other to reach our potential and create positive change in our lives and our world!
